It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mulki Ramachandra Kamath (M.R. Kamath), a highly respected Chartered Accountant from Mangalore, at the age of 79. He breathed his last this evening after a brief illness. He was a bachelor and resided in Mannagudda

With an illustrious career spanning 55 years, Mr. Kamath was a cornerstone of the Chartered Accountancy profession in Mangalore. A pioneer during the formative years of the ICAI Mangalore branch, he served as an office bearer and played a pivotal role in its growth and success.

Beyond his professional excellence, Mr. Kamath was deeply committed to social service.
