The second day of International Summit CRIFO 2K25 on the theme “Forensic Spectrum :An Intersection of Technology and Crime Investigation” organized by the Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), School of Social Work (Autonomous), Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru in collaboration with  TConnects, Getjobs and Skills in Security and Investigations, Virtual Protect Security Pvt. Ltd & Covert Security India Consulting Services LLP, Bengaluru was held on 1st March 2025 in the college campus.  

The day began with quiz grand finale and paper presentation session followed by technical session four was held on the topic “Empowering Organizations with Smart Resource & Skill Ecosystems” and “Transforming Fleet Security Through Intelligent Risk Management” by Mr. Sai Krishna Domala, Managing Director of Virtual Protect Security, Private Limited and Mr. Thejas Abhishek, Team lead Security Operations, Virtual protect security. Mr. Sai Krishna introduced “Risk Jobs Portal,” a platform for student skill development and corporate job placement, focusing on security. Services include training, internships, and resume building. Mr. Thejas Abishek presented a vehicle tracking and monitoring system with features like GPS, geo-fencing, and emergency response, demonstrating its risk prevention capabilities. The stress interview was the final event held before the valedictory ceremony.

During the Valedictory ceremony of the International Summit ‘CRIFO 2K25’, the chief guest Assoc. Prof. Vineetha K., former Registrar (Evaluation) and Head, UG Department of “Social Work,” School of Social Work, Mangaluru emphasized the importance of the conference in expanding forensic expertise within the legal system and thanked the organizing team for the successful implementation of the international agreement. She thanked the delegates and guests in attendance. She also discussed the aspirations and future ambitions that every student should hold dear during their academic journey. She also commended the entire MSC CFS team, under the direction of Dr. Saritha D’Souza, for their hard work in planning this successful event.  

In her speech, the presiding officer, Dr. Jacinta D’Souza, a former principle of the School of Social Work, thanked the guests of honor for their accomplishments, the event’s collaborators, and the significance of the sessions held for future generations. She also thanked the organizing committee, speakers, attendees, and delegates who helped make the event a success. She also congratulated all of the participants on their award wins and spoke about the late Dr. Ashoka B, the former head of the MSc CFS.

Guest of Honor, Mr. Somashankar N, Police Inspector & Finger print Expert Finger Print Unit, Mangaluru City and Dr. Rosa Nimmy Mathew, IQAC Co-coordinator Head, MSc Counselling, The Program collaborator Mr. Pradeep Loyed Martis, Security Operation manager, Virtual Protect Security Pvt. Ltd,  Bengaluru and Student coordinator Ms. Feba Shamma R,  Organizing secretary Mr. Roshan D’Souza,  Organizing Joint Secretary Ms. Nashwa Iqbal,  teaching and non-teaching staffs, students of the institution, students and faculties from other institutions in and around the states were also present on this occasion.

Mr. Niketh P S, Asst. Prof MSc CFS and Faculty Convener of “CRIFO 2K25” felicitated the prize distribution to the winners of various events. The SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Mysuru has bagged the overall championship and the event concluded with a short video showcasing the glimpse of the two-days event.

Asst.Prof. Gayathri K S, Faculty coordinator ‘CRIFO 2K25’ welcomed the gathering. Student coordinator Ms. Vedhaashini S Gowda, compered the whole event. Dr. Saritha D’Souza, Head, Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science and IQAC Coordinator cum Program Coordinator delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Adheena M, Department media coordinator compiled the report. Altogether 150 delegates were a part of the event.
