His professional journey began as a Lecturer in Finance and Taxation at SDM College of Business Management in Mangalore in 2003. He later worked with JP Morgan Chase Bank in India and the USA, where he held key positions in commercial and investment banking.
He also served at the Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management as Post Graduate Program Coordinator, handling academics and examinations, and later at NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, where he introduced a Value-Added Course in Finance, Accounting and Taxation for Engineers. He strengthened alumni relations by organizing Global Alumni Meets in Dubai, Nitte, and Kochi. These experiences reflect his belief that education must connect knowledge with leadership and service. He believes in disruptive innovation and continues to encourage faculty and students at NIPE to excel through creative teaching, research, and community engagement.
He has an excellent academic foundation. He holds an MBA in Finance, an MA in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, an MPhil, and a PhD. He is also qualified in the Karnataka State Eligibility Test in Management. He serves as the Principal of Nitte Institute of Professional Education (NIPE), under Nitte Deemed to be University.
