Rev. Fr Fredrick Mascarenhas, Parish Priest
of St Joseph Church, Belman, blessed the ATM
The MCC Bank Ltd. proudly marked another milestone in its journey of customer
service and banking excellence with the inauguration of its 9th ATM at the Belman
Branch on Saturday, 9th August 2025.

The program was presided over by Sahakara Ratna Mr Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC
Bank Ltd. The ATM was inaugurated by Mr Shodhan Kumar Shetty, Proprietor of Manya
Developers and Hotel Suraj Inn, Belman. Rev. Fr Fredrick Mascarenhas, Parish Priest
of St Joseph Church, Belman, blessed the ATM, invoking grace and prosperity for the
branch and its customers. The first cash withdrawal from the ATM was made by Mr
Fredrick Vincent Andrade
The ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of Chief Guest Mr Francis D’Souza,
Proprietor of St Joseph Earth Movers and St Joseph Fuels, Belman, along with Mr
Dominic Andrade, Headmaster of St Joseph English Medium School, Belman.
The program commenced with a welcome by Ms Shiny Lasrado, Branch Manager of
MCC Bank Belman branch. A floral welcome was extended to all the dignitaries on the
dais, followed by an opening prayer led by Dealle and Alwyn Dsouza, setting a reverent
tone for the proceedings.

Delivering the presidential address, Chairman Mr Anil Lobo gave a detailed account of
the bank’s journey. He spoke about the bank’s consistent compliance with RBI
parameters and shared the good news of crossing a turnover of ₹5 crore in the Belman
branch alone. He further noted the significant growth in other branches – Brahmavara
having achieved ₹10 crore in turnover within a year and Byndoor recently opening with
over 100 new accounts. He also announced future expansion plans, including more
ATMs and branches, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to accessibility and customer
service.




He acknowledged and appreciated the vital role played by customers in the success of
the Belman branch. He extended gratitude to all dignitaries and guests for their
unwavering support and encouragement.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shodhan Kumar Shetty expressed heartfelt gratitude to
MCC Bank for its commendable services and lauded the branch’s contribution to the
Belman community. He praised the local support for the bank and extended his best
wishes for its continued growth.
Rev. Fr Fredrick Mascarenhas, in his speech, commended MCC Bank for maintaining
banking standards comparable to nationalized banks and delivering customer-friendly
service with a personal touch.
