Its a boon in disguise for the later class of students but a curse for General class students. Because, for them it is imperative to be knowledgeable to get the job after completing their studies. The first class of students are already blessed with the several government policies for providing job under reservations schemes and later on promotions in their career.

A regular process to evaluate the knowledge of a student and Result is a tally of
students who are best, better and so on.
It is mandatory to judge the knowledge of student by way of examination before promoting him to the new classes.
Class 12 exam is very crucial because after that they will join the courses of higher education and professional studies. Therefore, if we are moving the third class stuff to the further studies, we shall get the third class professional like Doctor, Engineer, Teacher and other kind of professionals.
It is hard fact that we are not prepared to use alternative arrangement of education and exams under the challenges of natural calamities or such kind of situations. It is not only in education system but also in every espect of the system.
