“Gramaloka” Konkani Literary Program Enchants Audience at Badiyadka
Kasaragod’s Badiyadka Culture Bhavan came alive on June 22 with an enchanting Konkani Literary program known as “Gramaloka.” Organized by the prestigious Kendra Sahitya Akademi, the event witnessed the esteemed presence of the renowned Dr. Kasturi Mohan Pai, an expert in Konkani literature and language, who graced the gathering with his wisdom and guidance.
The stage was set by Melvin Rodrigues, the passionate Coordinator of the Konkani Department at Kendra Sahitya Akademi, who eloquently highlighted the program’s significance and noble purpose.
Talented young writers were the stars of the evening, shining brightly as they unveiled their literary prowess. Venkatesh Nayak, Shweta Pai Manjeswara, and Roshan mesmerized the audience with their soul-stirring periodical poems, weaving emotions into the hearts of those present. Additionally, Stani Bela’s gripping short story left the audience in awe, adding a delightful variety to the literary offerings of the night.
