Mangaluru to Host “Swachhata Hi Seva” Event on September 28
Mangaluru, September 26 – Nitte Institute of Professional Education, in association with Lions International, is organizing the “Swachhata Hi Seva” event on September 28, 2024, at 9:30 am at the KSRTC Bus Stand, Bejai, Mangaluru.
The event aims to promote cleanliness and sustainability, aligning with the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat initiative. Prof. Dr. Suma Ballal, Deputy Registrar of Nitte Deemed-to-be University, Mr. H.R. Kamal Kumar, Divisional Traffic Officer, KSRTC, and Mr. M.G. Jaya Kumar, Divisional Mechanical Engineer, KSRTC, will grace the occasion as chief guests.
Lion G.K. Hari Prasad Rai, Zone Chairperson, Zone-3, and NV Paulose, Chairman of Global TV will attend as guests of honor. The event is being organized under the guidance of Dr. Jnaneshwar Pai Maroor, Principal of Nitte Institute of Professional Education.
The “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiative seeks to inspire community involvement in maintaining cleanliness and promoting sustainable practices. The event will feature discussions, awareness drives, and activities focused on environmental conservation.
