River Nethravathi silently moves side by Lobo’s River View and reaches the Arabian Sea one Kilometer down the line. Konkan Railway and Sothern Railway join at the vicinity of Lobo’s River View. Train sound also becomes musical when heard sitting at Lobo’s River View. The landscape in the wide canvas is very soothing when your eyes are towards the bridge at one end and the seaside at the other. The view goes unending on both sides.

Casica Tile Factory at LRV has a long tradition to talk. The century-old Tile Factory is still operational to remind us about the glorious past. Cascia Tile Factory Managed by Lobo’s is one among the few factories that withstood the test of time. A Tile Museum and an Art Museum are in the minds of Lobo’s being hopeful about the promises of Smart City projects.

The initial meeting of Mangalore Smart City was about supporting riverfront activities. Slowly it had turned about towards routine models of development practices. Every International City with riverfront access is utilizing them for attracting tourists from across the world. Thousands of people can get direct and indirect employment opportunities when the resources are put into greater manifestations. There is a possibility of two hundred floating houses across the rivers in Mangalore city and Dakshina Kannada District. The district has all logistics to become an International Tourism Destination.
