The hospital, established as part of the CSR initiative by Shankaranarayana Constructions (SNC) Private Limited, includes an advanced Eye Hospital and a Primary Health Centre. Equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and staffed by renowned healthcare professionals, the facility is set to revolutionize healthcare access in the region.
The hospital’s inauguration coincided with the centenary celebration of SNC’s visionary founder, Mr. C. Narayana Shetty, and serves as a testament to his enduring legacy of social responsibility. Sitaram Shetty, Executive Chairman of SNC, with significant contributions from his elder brother, the late Dr. Bhujang Shetty, founder of the Narayana Nethralaya Group of Hospitals. The eye hospital, a centerpiece of the facility, is equipped with two ultra-modern operation theaters capable of performing up to 70,000 cataract surgeries annually. High-performance imported phaco machines ensure superior outcomes for cataract patients. All surgeries, including phaco cataract surgeries, are provided completely free of charge.
Comprehensive Primary Health Services
The Primary Health Centre at the hospital aims to enhance healthcare access in the region. Services include free consultations, vaccinations, lab tests, and treatment for minor injuries.
