ROTARIAN LAL GOEL DELIVERS KEYNOTE ADDRESS AT CISF, JAIPUR AIRPORT

Jaipur, 26 June 2026 — Rotarian Lal Goel, Founder & Charter President of the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International (RCODI) and Chairman of the Organ Donation India Foundation & GYAN, was the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker at a special organ donation awareness programme organised by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Jaipur Airport.

During his inspiring hour-long address, Rotarian Lal Goel encouraged CISF officers and personnel to become ambassadors of organ donation within their families and communities, emphasising that awareness starting at home can transform society. He also acknowledged the vital yet often unsung role of CISF personnel in facilitating the swift movement of organs through airports, helping ensure that life-saving transplants occur without delay.

Speaking on the current state of organ donation in India, Rotarian Lal Goel highlighted four major challenges: inadequate public awareness, the limited number of organ retrieval and transplant centres, insufficient financial support for transplantation, and persistent cultural and religious misconceptions. While appreciating the sincere efforts of the Government of India and the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO), he noted that much more remains to be done and called upon every citizen to contribute to building a stronger culture of organ donation.

The interactive session ended with an engaging question-and-answer segment, during which Rotarian Lal Goel addressed participants’ questions and dispelled common myths and misconceptions surrounding organ donation, inspiring many attendees to consider pledging their organs.

Rotarian Lal Goel expressed his sincere gratitude to the CISF Commandant and Deputy Commandant for their initiative and congratulated the entire organising team for arranging such a meaningful awareness programme at short notice.
