Police Commissioner giving new dimension to the Uniform Strategy of Policing.

Dedicated Policing is the only way to contain Covid -19. This is being proved by the Kerala Model in general and in the Kasaragod model particularly. Police Commissioner Mr. Vijay Sakhare IPS had narrated the success story while he was participating in the Media Conference with Mr. Lal Goel, Chairman of Organ Donation India Foundation and GYAN. TV Show promoted by News Karnataka in collaboration with Village TV, V4News, Malanadu TV, News Gaon Se and Global TV has become a model for potitive media initiatives in the country. Mr. Lal Goel who is the Editor and host of the program make it a point to give a proper hearing for the guests who are in the discussion panel.
Quality of the program has attracted great personalities across the nation and abroad to participate in the program passionately. Guests are also demonstrates mutual respect and appreciation for others and their views. Programs of this kind are very natural to attract large audience.
Our fight is against Covid – 19. We are not against people. This was the message of Kerala Police from the beginning of Lockdown process in Kasaragod which had started few days before the national lockdown. Police had arrested people who were wandering against lockdown guidelines. Vehicles were captured. They have done all these things with smiling faces. Every time they were able to make the people to understand the fight is only against the virus.
Two important services were also initiated by the police for the people. Getting essential goods at their doorsteps and also getting them medicines. A simple whatsApp message was enough to reach the police control room and every requirement were met within three to four hours. Passionate service of police had made people to admire them for their selfless services. Celebrities had joined in the campaign. Everyday detailed press briefing was educative. People started lining up with the policing process.
Along with all these supportive, strict and caring measures, professional policing also were done in a more enthusiastic way. Every person who had come to Kerala from other states was identified and was strictly quarantined. Urbanised society of Kerala had helped to monitor many movements through the cctv cameras spread all over in the streets. People with COVID Possibility were given proper alert and instructions to follow room quarantine. They were educated not to spread the virus and were told about the possibility of a community spread.
Knowledge of police in organising VVIP Security and their traffic control expertise all were employed for the containment of the virus. All these efforts had transformed the out casted Kasaragod District into a respectable status. International Media started praising about the Kerala Model.
While praising this noteworthy achievement the Editor Mr. Lal Goel was curious to know about the reasons for many other places that are not able to follow the proven model of Mr. Vijay Sakhare IPS. There is no rocket science in it was the reply from Mr. Sakhare. Success is all in the sincerity and dedication in the approach of responsible people. Coordination of various departments and large participation of people can contain COVID in 14 days’ time at any place.
Let us hope the passionate and compassionate model of Mr. Vijay Sakhare to become Vijay Mantra for entire India and the world at large. Let the people take care of themselves not to cause a social disaster. Watch the Video below to hear the beautiful conversation.

-What is Triple-Lock Strategy for containment of COVID, where it was implemented, whose brain child and what is success rate
-To know the answer first we have to look into few facts
-The first positive cases of coronavirus in India were reported from three students of Kerala origin, travelling from the Wuhan province of China
-They belonged to Thrissur, Alappuzha and Kasargod districts of Kerala and two of them were medical students at a university in Wuhan
-In Kerala The number of active cases initially peaked at 266 on 6th April before declining.
-As of 17th July in Kerala there have been 11066 confirmed cases with 4995 (48.51%) recoveries and 38 (0.37%) deaths in the state.
-Kerala’s success in containing COVID-19 has been widely praised both nationally and internationally
-Yes we are talking about the success story of Kerala where this triple-lock strategy was first introduced at Kasaragod district
-Till date In Kasaragod total positive cases are 785 recovered 481 & not a single death
-The brain behind this strategy is of one very senior police officer who was posted at Kasaragod as special officer for COVID-19

-Is Chief Archtect of ‘triple-lock’ strategy for containment of COVID which he has successfully implemented in Kasaragode and Kannur Districts of Kerala
-The strategy has caught national and international attention as it happens to be the only intervention in the world which has successfully prevented spread of COVID-19 virus.
-Mr Vijay Sakhare has started his career as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Kasaragode, Kerala in 1998 and served as Commissioner of Police and Superintendent of Police in several districts in Kerala
-He has a singular distinction of working with two different state police forces, Uttarakhand and Kerala, as the senior Superintendent of Police.
-As Deputy inspector General of Police, He has worked in Border Security Force, protecting our western border.
-He has led prestigious G-Branch in intelligence and credited with enhancing security co-operation with our eastern Neighbours, especially Bangladesh.
-He is credited with setting up Vigilance Directorate in Central Armed Police Forces.
-In Kerala, He has held charge of prestigious Central Range of Kerala Police and have the singular distinction of being the First IGP and Commissioner of Police of Kochi.
-Mr Vijay Sakhare is IPS officer of 1996 batch. A postgraduate in Design engineering from IIT Delhi
-He has acquired post graduation in Radicalization and Counter-Radicalization from King’s College London, Post graduation in Information Security and MBA in Finance.
-Few of his achievements beyond day to day professional policing are:
- Creating and Establishing Communication Backbone for fast and secure information exchange among various offices of Kerala Police in 2003. It was first of a kind in India.

Sir Clement was a Living Saint among us who lived a beautiful life and had a beautiful death too. We must learn from his simple life with great extra ordinary knowledge. Prof. Clement D’Souza was a great soul and pioneer of Pranic Healing and NLP in Mangalore. He was taking an online class and today was his second day of class. I am told that one of his students rang up Clement sir ‘s neighbour when sir did not come online. That’s how they found out.
Clement sir was a remarkable person. I had the privilege of being his student and attending one of his NLP courses. He was the first person to bring in Pranic Healing and NLP to Mangalore, and also took Sujok (which Advocate Padakannaya had introduced) to new highs. He had mastered all these alternative therapies and was a master trainer and healer. He did healing through hypnosis and the Hawaiian Ho’ oponopono as well.
He was a man open to new knowledge and welcomed the tenets of Hinduism and other religions. He believed that all paths to the Truth were equally valid and should be used for healing humanity.
Even after his retirement from St Agnes College, he was deeply committed to learning new things. He was the eternal Learner and Healer. He was by nature affable, forthright, a strict disciplinarian and scholar. He had a fantastic memory and believed learning had no borders. He was one of Mangalore’s Renaissance Men!
I doff my hat to you, Prof Clement…may your soul have a peaceful transition and may you discover the joys of new worlds that you envisaged. Be happy, go in Peace, Guru Clement!

Prof. Clement D’Souza was a great NLP Healer and Trainer. He was committed for social causes like Palliative Care, rainwater harvesting and more than all in transforming human beings into great achievers.
He has a large follower base among NLP Practitioners. He was very fond of teaching NLP to everyone. Always proud saying “NLP changed my life. It can change your life too. “
Prof. Clement D’Souza was a Yoga Teacher, Pranic Healer, Reiki therapist and expert in many other alternative therapies. He was appreciated among doctors and were called for holding sessions on NLP for medical professionals.
Soft spoken and always active Prof. Clement D’Souza was a trustee at Ave Maria Palliative Care. He was retired from St. Agnes College in 2005 after teaching there for 34 years. He was heading Economics Department.
He was instrumental for St. Agnes College to get Prestigious President Carter award for rainwater harvesting and it’s outreach implementation at Kirem village.
I was a close associate to Prof. Clement D’Souza. Ever since I met him in 2012 our relationship continued to be of a Master and a disciple. He was my Mentor in NLP. I was called for every class mainly for demonstration purpose. I had learned NLP just by copying Prof. Clement D’Souza. He had an encouraging nature and friendly approach. I was introduced to some of the great trainers and very important people by Prof. Clement D’Souza.
For me the loss of Prof. Clement D’Souza is like the fall of a light house. I am yet to believe the sad news that my master is no more.
Many who have learned NLP with Prof. Clement D’Souza may have the same emotional connection with him. I was lucky to accompany or to assist Prof. Clement D’Souza in many programs at various places.
Soft spoken Professor was always proud of NLP. He was all the time working for learning and training. Every time there was something new to teach. His loss is mounting pressure on all whom he have placed mark in their heart.

he had done a thorough research on it
When working as a professor at St. Agnes college Mangalore, Prof. Clement started practicing NLP, around six years before his retirement. In fact he first learned NLP for his friends. In a training session at Mangalore he was teaching yoga and practicing pranic healing. He had a little knowledge about NLP at that time however was aware that NLP can do wonders. He shared this information about neuro linguistic programming with his senior students and friends who were attending the training sessions. They altogether wanted Prof. Clement to teach them NLP. Thus he was forced to learn it.
Prof. Clement was not just learning NLP, collecting as many books from abroad with the help of his students around the world, he had done a thorough research on it! I don’t think anybody else in India had done such a valuable research work on NLP till today.
Prof. Clement made NLP so famous in South India. He conducted NLP training programs in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and many other states in India. He also visited Gulf countries for training sessions. Prof. Clement’s training classes was extraordinary. He proved that NLP can do wonders in every walk of personal and professional life especially in the field of mental health.
He had great knowledge about psychology, yoga, pranic healing, sujok, EFT, Ho’oponopono etc. He never had conflicts with psychologists, psychiatricts or other medical professionals instead he could made many of them his reputed students.
He is one of the NLP Pioneers in India who could prepare comprehensive NLP books refering almost all famous books including ”the structure of magic, volume 1&2”, the bible of NLP written by Bandler and Grinder. He shared all information available with him which resembles his commitments towards his students. Prof. Clement was a real ”Guru” who wanted his disciples to grow up to the peak. He had dedicated the last 20 years of his life entirely for NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). He is a great social worker who want no publicity.
He was my master in NLP. I had years of relationship with him. I visited him at his training centre and home in Mangalore many times for repeated learning and he also visited me in my center and my house at Kottayam. He gifted me valuable and unforgettable moments. Nobody can forget his beautiful training programs.
Prof. Clemet D’Souza passed away on 17 July 2020 at Mangalore. I deeply mourn his sad demise. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace. I extent my deep condolence to his sorrowing wife and only son.

Situation is mostly like the great depression in 1930s and we had overcome those tough times with right actions at right time. There are few suggestions about this as an ongoing guidelines evolving through interactions and interventions of a human association that is filled with passion and compassion.
Step down Method is the first method proposed. In this method, everyone involved are stepping down few steps to make things possible in a large scale.

Campuses, faculty, students, landholders around the campuses, future students, low cost and ethnic construction companies, NRI Investets, chamber of commerce, construction workers are the nucleus of the project.
Making education possible in an expanded environment in the prevailing situation is the idea. It is connected with various visionary recommendations like three slice education model proposed by Prof. Dr. Subramanya Yadapadithaya, consolidated development model proposed by Dr. PK Abraham are included in the designing of the program.
Townships of various kinds are developed by creating large employment opportunities. Each township is of a self sustainable model that the people who move there get employed at multiple jobs based on their career orientation and interest. Purandara Das wrote it five hundred years back. Who did the marvellous colouring over the wings of a Peacock? Who gave that amazing overview for that little parrot? Many things in the universe are designed by none in the world of ownership claims. Can we call the super power be the master mind? Definitely can’t! The one who is invisible does it not for any kind of glory. A masterpiece is fully contented in its creation itself. Not even satisfaction can be an outcome thereupon. The make itself is the entire thing inclusive of everything else as well.
This being the case in the make of the universe and every masterpiece within it; can we human beings do something in line with the universal alignment of creativity? Can we look into the nature and natural habitats and happenings? Can we learn our lost lessons from the nature? Can this help to build up the economy of India as a whole and leverage it into manifold? Can we work on Open Glocal (Global + Local) Collaborations?
Can corporates be reframed with collaborates? Can global and local merge and converge to become glocal? Can digital connectivity make emergence of digital villages worldwide ? For example , The Udupi cuisines that had become Udupi Hotels today have become non-functional at Covid 19 pandemic. Can this give way for emergence of a Glocal Digital E -Commerce Platform for Udupi Cuisine Ingredients , Ready to Eat Products , On line Cooking Classes etc.. delivered to the world and being the pride of every person from Udupi District? Every district in India are specialised in one or other unique specialisations. We can now come out from the greed based big brand concepts to the need based universal branding concepts. India is my country is a pride privilege of every Indian. Let every place have the same ways of branding. Let the brand belongs to everyone who belong to the land.
Let our capital holdings become a handholding for the people. The least in the list also will be able to contribute their best in such a renewed outlook. We should move from company set ups to community culture. Community is a power tower that can cater specifically to the needs of everyone in the community. Community approach can create exponential career progress for the young generation in the new dynamic digital world. Ladies can become part of the progress being at home. Everyone seeking opportunities will get suitable roles to demonstrate their passion and to make use of their talents for exponential economic and social transformation. The dynamics of community will automatically become vibrant.
All of us or any of us can take a lead in this process. We all can contribute all our might unconditionally in a national development process? This is a welcome movement. It can sure become a national movement for rebuilding Indian Economy. Simply welcome people and offer them a hearing. Social distancing need not emotionally distance as. The conversation process can happen digitally and over all available platforms.
At the end of every move it has to touch the ground realities. We should engage people in economic growth processes. It can be water rejuvenation programs, farmer strengthening initiatives like food processing projects or innovations at grassroots. People should become a chain of excellence at every level of initiatives. Those who are experienced can offer free mentorship. Offices can open doors for meetings for planning and execution of projects. Offices can provide coordination services.
At each level we should be able to create new avenues for at least one thousand people. Can we create each project identified being an ‘Open Glocal Collaboration’ so that the effort applied at one place become foundation to build career opportunities across the nation? Many existing areas of activities also can accommodate more people in this way. Offices that are promoting brands can make it open for people across the nation. It is not franchisee model or any kind of structural subordination. Take people into confidence and make them clear and vibrant stakeholders. Let the progress be propelled with enthusiasm and zeal.
Open Glocal Collaboration is an invitation to every Indian across the world. Operate a brand with independent status in a collective format. One is responsible to build the brand and also to enjoy the fruits of every hard work. Ethics is the prime governing principle and thus boundaries are drawn without many lines of control. Such movements will set parameters automatically without having many agreements to sign up between people. Standard are being set automatically and the people who keep up the standard will keep pace with the establishment which is more than a paper establishment. One can get in and move out from these universal establishments just like boarding a flight and moving out at the departure gate. Normally everyone will keep moving with the flight! It’s a ticketless journey in a supersonic flight that’s not afflicted with the pandemic of greed!
