Dr. PP Devan, ENT consultant and Medical Director of Shilpa health care has been invited to go to Zurich, Switzerland to see a patient suffering from menieres disease.
To date, 6 patients who have come to SHILPA, suffering from menieres disease are fully cured.

As of now there is no cure for menieres.

This is the 3rd time Dr. Devan had been invited internationally to see patients.
Dr. Devan is the recepient of two GOLD MEDALS for outstanding research in South India ENT conference and his chapters in the internationally acclaimed American board certified textbook, emedicine is read nearly a thousand times a month, by American doctors.

Universal Language is the language of senses. The language of inner experience. Every person has a different experience inside yet the language is common. It is not that difficult to get connected with the language of senses. Once one get connected with the language of senses it is further easier to get connected with the universal language.

Government is a symbol of power. Any power centre behave like a government. Every person at power think in same manner. Power think ultimate about themselves. I can do everything is the attitude. Nothing should happen with out my knowledge and interference is the approach of power. As an outcome it prevents others from doing their part in development process and programs.  A state or a nation where only the government machinery is in action is bound to fail in performance.  False claims and manipulated figures are all the outcomes of such an approach. Ultimately the ship has to get into troubled waters and everyone starts to blame the people at power. Same lips that sung slogans of praise go spreading wrong slogans about the king. Better correct and know what are the things possible at self and what all need others to play roles.

A government is like a ship. Every constituency is a mini ship. MP and MLA or even a Corpopator or a Gram Panchayat Member is the Captain of that particular ship. People of the constituency are the Crew of the ship. When Captain claim all the credits, the Crew become lazy and disconnected from the system. This is alright when things go fine. But then you cannot keep the ship in the Seashore.  It has to go to deep sea.

Deep sea is of troubled waters. Captain need support from the Crew. There should be a proper coordination between the Captain and the Crew. There should be mutual respect. Attitude of the government’s claiming bigger than what they are causing gap between the people and the government. Those who are just focused on corruption only can go in a careless manner. Others shiuld keep people alongside.  Or else at critical times the Crew may throw the Captain out of the ship. That may become an unpleasant exit.

In Kerala flood it was visible. People took control by themselves. Government and governmental machinary has to speak loud their expressions gratitude to the people. Those officers were genuine and had the courtesy to tell the truth. The Chief Minister of Kerala has done good work at the time of trouble.  Even his medical travel was postponed.

But he was forced to do things that he had refused to do earlier. Press briefing was abruptly stopped immediately after he became the CM. At time of flood almost every day he had to explain about all what is being done. That had proved many things. In the total work of relief and rescue operations the role of government is only a rat size in the entire mountain of goodness.

Everyone may have soft corner to some parties to come to power but no one proposes them to come to power through manipulating voting machines. We cannot make a conclusion about a possibility of a manipulation in this regard. No one can prove it and at the same time no one can assure that a manipulation is impossible.

Anything which has a human intervention can be manipulated. Before voting machine also there were ways of manipulation in election. Booth capture, Ballot Box access etc. were all had happened in our election history. Indian democracy has grown far beyond all those levels. Election commission has become a reputed body and election process has become a mass program. It is very much difficult to manipulate things today. India loves democracy to the core.

Even in such a situation it is always better to take democracy to a level it cannot be manipulated. Pattern breaking is the solution. Very simple is the process of pattern breaking. It is a CS Theme. Know what are the ways the manipulation can happen? Create a new pattern in which such manipulation is impossible.

A simple Pattern breaking is possible by shifting the symbol pasting process from a central level to Booth level. Let the symbols of candidates are picked random and pasted accordingly at booth level and then different voting machines will have a mixed order in display of symbols.  When there is no order and the new order is sudden it is not possible to articulate, plan and implement an order of manipulation.

There can be further steps to add security to the process of making democracy truly democratic. There is no value for gaining positions by hook or crook. Every party is bound to field performing leaders and to send other on VRS so that the nation is in the path of progress and the youth are comfortable at their positions.

JR Lobo likely to be chosen for Parliament Election!?

Political predictions are very complex and the equations are fluctuating even at the last moment but the waves are giving positive signals about the candidature of JR Lobo for Mangalore Parliamentary Constituency. Coming parliament election is more tough for all the parties. Fielding anyone and winning is possible only when the voting machines are at the disposal of the ruling party. There are chances of more hue and cry in this regard and There may be chances of more transparency and convincing methods to get added up. Ballet paper also may come back into existence. Nation stood fifty days in queue on accounts of demonitization. A day’s queue may not be that difficult for Indian people. Democracy has become a habit for India. There may be more sacrifices to prove it really democratic and transparent.

Performance of MLAs and MPs has also become a criteria all of a sudden. National politics is slowly getting into detailed introspection and people are asking each MPs to present their performance report. Routine kind of a casual document may not work this time. When Ministers are asked for performance there may be demand for Performance from others. Query may come from Top office or from the constituencies.

More youngsters getting into voting streams are looking about creation of additional employment opportunities at various constituencies. There may be a demand for a graphical performance report in terms of developmental parameters in place of todays political manifestos. Figures and pictures may be in demand in place of casual political reports of accusations and allegations. Youth may demand for more opportunities and openings. Even NRIs are looking for a better environment so that they can come back to their natives.

There is an internal re-engineering happening in BJP circles about how to choose a performing candidate for Mangalore constituency. Not that the other constituencies are confirmed with the existing MPs. Public has become more alert and demanding about the performance of their elected members in Parliament and everywhere else. Adjustments and power circles are slowly becoming old stories. Performance and leadership qualities are rated by everyone today. Shaking confidence in existing MP and possibility of a new face from BJP mostly a candidate of independent reputation may make the competition more tough this time.

Preparations are seen in the political circles even at grassroots. Last minute candidate selection may cause damage for winning possibilities of every candidate. Mangalore is regarded being one of very expressive constituencies and one of the campaign capitals in Karnataka. There are chances of early announcements of candidature at least in inner circles.

Influence of observers from Kerala in deciding the candidature in Congress may go in favour of JR Lobo. His continued mode of active work even when there is no office of power impress everyone. People are still doubting the role of inner games in election result. Process of enquiries and judgement are all delayed processes in Indian standards. JR Lobo is very confident about getting back into the office of performance. Track records are good. Political predictions were all good. There were appreciations from everywhere. He never went into any kind of political tricks in election campaigns. What went wrong? No one knows.

Economy at local and national level is suffering set backs one after the other. There need to be a turn around in political performance. Rule at Indira Gandhi regime was to field anyone and people are about to vote to whoever is the candidate. Today, every voter need to know what is there for me in it. Either in kind or in kindness.

Politics is in an auto clean up status at present. Professionalism is also entering from all sides. Dictator mode to collective decision making is the move eventhogh it is slow and unstable. We csn see consultants everywhere. Perform or perish has become the formula. It is also a warning signal for those who take things for granted. Figures should talk and to figure out a way out may not be that easy at this juncture. May be smart city to play a role. Most probably being an added blow over the rock bottom performance at present. Youngsters are smart enough to ask you a report on performance day wise. Very wise be prepared.

We believe that tourism should be non-exploitative, equitable and sustainable. A question that has been central to our work and directs much of it is ‘Who Really Benefits from Tourism?’.

We work with local communities, concerned groups, the tourism industry and other players to ensure that the rights of children are protected in the context of tourism. We endeavour to influence central and state governments to incorporate, implement and monitor child sensitive guidelines in their respective policies and legislations.

ECONOMIC IMPACTS AND TOURISM

We provide a developing-country perspective at the national and international fora on the impacts of trade and economic policies on tourism development and community benefit. We work on influencing the national government’s trade and economic policies related to tourism to prioritise community rights, benefits and local regulation.

ECOSYSTEMS, COMMUNITIES AND TOURISM

We work on international, national and local level policies and processes to build an understanding of environmental impacts of tourism. We critique current models of tourism; all which have a bearing on ecological sustainability, biodiversity and sustainable livelihoods.

GOVERNANCE, LAW AND TOURISM

We work with rural and urban Local Self Governing Institutions (LSGIs) to exercise their rights and to develop guidelines and mechanisms to strengthen local regulation of tourism and to ensure that they play an active and decisive role in tourism development.

TOURISM EDUCATION

We aim to influence how tourism is taught in India by mainstreaming critical perspectives and attempt changes in tourism curriculum. We engage with students, teachers and tourism institutions by building awareness on tourism impacts, encouraging research and welcoming interns.

WOMEN AND TOURISM

The tourism industry claims to be a major employer of women globally, but this is an industry that is far from gender just. Our work examines ways in which women can have greater access, control and ownership over livelihoods and natural resources as well as access to the benefits in the context of tourism. New paradigm for Mangalore the city of humanity and respect for global citizenship.

Namo Shivaya on Krishnashtami day with everyone together celebrating the underlying principles of common goodness and expression of kindness on human wellness and anger against ill behaviour of the crooks and their actions. Drishti is everything and it is vision for the larger perspective.
