Earning degrees in BSc Chemistry and MA English Literature and serving as the MLA of Piravom, where his leadership transformed Thirumarady into Kerala’s best panchayat. But Jacob’s love for athletics never left him. In 2006, at the age of 65, while inaugurating the Ernakulam Masters Meet, a spark reignited.
