Rotarian Lal Goel Commends and Thanks Maharashtra Chief Minister for Enhanced Financial Support for Organ Transplants

NV Paulose, Chairman, Global TV +91 98441 82044

Mumbai, November 12, 2024 — Rotarian Lal Goel, founder and charter president of the Rotary Club of Organ Donation International and chairman of the Organ Donation India Foundation and GYAN, has expressed his deep appreciation to the Honorable Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for substantially increasing financial assistance for organ transplant surgeries under the state health insurance schemes.

Through the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, residents of Maharashtra will now receive enhanced medical coverage for critical transplant procedures.

The revised financial support includes

  • ₹15 lakh for heart transplants
  • ₹17 lakh for bone marrow transplants
  • ₹20 lakh for lung transplants and TAVI or TAVR procedures
  • ₹20 lakh for combined heart and lung transplants
  • ₹22 lakh for liver transplants

Rotarian Lal Goel acknowledged the dedicated efforts of PDG Rtn Dr Rajendra Agrawal, who worked closely with him for more than a year to advocate for these improvements before Dr Omprakash Shete, chairman of the Ayushman Bharat Mission Maharashtra Committee.

“This policy milestone will make life saving organ transplants more accessible and affordable for patients in urgent need,” said Rotarian Lal Goel.

This is the second major policy achievement driven by the advocacy of Rotarian Lal Goel under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Earlier, with the support of the present Governor of West Bengal, Dr C. V. Anand Bose, who was then the one man expert commission on labour, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved an increase in the transplant coverage limit from ₹5 lakh to ₹15 lakh. The latest enhancement, from ₹15 lakh to ₹22 lakh, has now been made possible through the consistent efforts of Dr Omprakash Shete, PDG Rtn Dr Rajendra Agrawal and Rotarian Lal Goel, and has been endorsed and approved by the Honorable Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Following the government order issued on November 4, Dr Omprakash Shete felicitated Rotarian Lal Goel and PDG Dr Rajendra Agrawal in recognition of their selfless service to society.

“With this enhanced financial support, countless lives can be saved and families across Maharashtra can find renewed hope in their fight against organ failure,” concluded Rotarian Lal Goel.

Josi Joseph | The Eternal Cycle of Orders and Disorders

Disorder is usually treated as chaos; a breakdown of structure. But in truth, disorder is simply a system on the way to reorganizing itself.

By Josi Joseph, Psychologist, Group Editor, Global TV +91 94468 48191

Human beings have always tried to understand the hidden rhythm that shapes the universe. Everywhere we look; whether in nature, in society, or within the human mind, we encounter both harmony and disruption, creation and collapse, structure and confusion. But behind these appearances lies a deeper truth.

As I reflected, I realized something subtle: everywhere there is disorder, beneath it there is an order. And wherever we see order, there is always a disorder waiting to emerge. Disorder holds the possibility of becoming order, and once an order exists, it too carries the potential for a new disorder. This is not a flaw in the universe but its very mode of functioning.

From this insight emerges what I call the eternal cycle of orders and disorders; a universal rhythm that governs everything from galaxies to human thought. Though echoes of this idea appear in earlier philosophies, the perspective presented here is unique because it sees the cycle not as conflict or opposition, but as an evolutionary motion intrinsic to existence itself.

Disorder as Hidden Order

Disorder is usually treated as chaos; a breakdown of structure. But in truth, disorder is simply a system on the way to reorganizing itself. What looks like confusion is often something deeper: a transition, a rebalancing, a preparation for a new state.

Thus, disorder is not the absence of order.
It is order in the making.

My own realization that “this disorder has got all the possibility to be in an order” captures this essence. Disorder is pregnant with future structure.

The Seeds of Disorder within Every Order

No order is final. Every stable system; whether a star, a political structure, or a thought pattern, contains the conditions that eventually lead to its transformation.

  • A star collapses into another form.
  • A belief becomes rigid and breaks.
  • A society stabilizes, stagnates, and reforms.

So when I say “if it is again an order comes, this order will have another disorder,” it is not pessimism; it is the recognition of the universe’s evolutionary engine.

Comparative Perspectives and beyond

Many traditions brush against the idea but do not articulate it in this cyclic, universal form.

  • Heraclitus taught that everything changes and conflict creates harmony.
  • But he did not present disorder as potential order nor describe a universally cycle.
  • Taoism says opposites contain each other.
  • But the emphasis is balance, not evolutionary transformation through cycles.
  • Hegel says order and disorder are the dynamic process of development with order emerging from and resolving contradictions within.
  • But this remains philosophical, not cosmic.

Complexity Science; Emergence

I like to go further and add and would explain that order → disorder → new order as the fundamental motion of the universe—an eternal dance, not merely a pattern.

In the universe, order and disorder are not opposites but partners. Every disorder contains the possibility of order, and every order contains the inevitability of its next disorder. This cycle is the basic movement of existence.”

This principle explains why change is constant and why nothing remains static.

Adding to the Law of Universal Singularity, my last essay; the idea becomes even more powerful.

If all existence is moving toward self-realization and equilibrium, then the cycle of orders and disorders is the universe’s own mechanism for progress.

  • Disorder pushes systems out of stagnation.
  • Order stabilizes them.
  • Disorder returns to create higher structures.

Periods of confusion are transitions toward new clarity. Emotional and cognitive disruptions prepare the ground for new understanding. Instability often signals the emergence of a more just or balanced order.

The realization that the universe is an eternal cycle of orders and disorders provides a unifying lens for understanding existence. I believe, it is not merely an observation but an insight that integrates science, spirituality, psychology, and cosmology. Cosmic evolution itself is the grand unfolding of this cycle. It is a universal pattern: creation, dissolution, and renewal.

The Power of the Rotary Pin | Inspired by Rotarian Anila Pillai and Rotarian Lal Goel

NV Paulose, Chairman, Global TV +91 9844182044

The Rotary pin is a universal symbol that connects millions of Rotarians across the world to a shared purpose. As Rotarian Lal Goel highlight through a conversation with Rotarian Anila Pillai, the moment a Rotarian wears the pin, it silently announces commitment, character and compassion. It reminds everyone that Rotary stands for integrity, goodwill and the spirit of giving.

Wearing the Rotary pin also has a strong personal impact. It works as a constant reminder of the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. A Rotarian who wears the pin feels a natural responsibility to live by this principle. Whether they are at home, at work or among strangers, the pin gently guides their actions with humility, kindness and sincerity. It inspires them to choose service and empathy in every situation.

Many Rotarians share stories of how the pin invites curiosity and meaningful conversations. Rotarian Lal Goel describes how strangers at an airport noticed his pin and approached him with interest. A simple glance at the pin can open the door to new friendships, opportunities and awareness. People often come forward to ask about the symbol. This leads to discussions about Rotary and its mission of improving communities, promoting peace, supporting education, encouraging organ donation and uplifting people in need. The pin becomes a small spark that lights up a larger message.

The Rotary pin also creates a deep sense of belonging. It unites members across countries, cultures and languages. When two Rotarians meet anywhere in the world, the pin acts like an instant connection. It reminds everyone that Rotary is a global family dedicated to service. This shared identity strengthens motivation and encourages members to contribute with enthusiasm.

The Rotary pin represents service as a way of life. Its true value is not in its size or design but in the actions it inspires. Every time a Rotarian chooses to help someone, support a cause or uplift a community, the pin shines a little brighter. It stands for a promise to serve selflessly, to lead with honesty and to make the world a better place through purposeful action.
