Creating New Career Roles | Strengthening Tourism Supporting economically weaker section | Global TV

By Tilak Mishra with NV Paulose +91 98441 82044

Youth at large should focus on efforts to create new career roles that are helpful to develop vitality and equality in the larger society. Tourism and Media are two interconnected areas that have great potential to strengthen the entire economy with massive career promotion and community development programs. Youth and Students can extensively work from internship to entrepreneurship in the process of Creating and developing New Career Roles.

Tourism Ambassadors and Tourism Guides are the two promising roles that we can promote extensively both in career and entrepreneurship models. These are models that can promote an average opportunity for about hundred people in a city in India. There are about 4,000 cities in India today. These careers can be taken up at a very basic level of referrals to an entrepreneurship model. These are roles to promote and establish regular link between the organised and the unorganised sector in tourism and media. The entire process can be oriented in line with our commitment towards the economically weaker sections.

Promote Tourism for overall Growth of Your District

Get – Skill – Set

Global TV envisions establishment of these two distinct career roles in a large scale. “Tourism Ambassadors” and “Tourism Guides” are roles that are tailored to enhance the experiences of tourists and travellers. These roles will transform the way we travel even within our country. Guides are an inevitable part in the tourism process everywhere in the world. We cannot explore a nation without the help of a tourism company and the guide accompanying our team. Going casually and coming back usually cannot be called as tourism exploration. Even local languages and practices are required to be coordinated proper.

Creation of career roles as mentioned above will enhance entire tourism sector across India. Forming a team at every city is important. Connecting between cities through media circles is also important. Informality and flexibility are the key words very difficult for many people to understand. Responsible freedom will transform our tourism and media economics enormously.

Establishment of the industry should be the target. Establishing a company and placing everyone and everything under it is a limiting factor. This factor is also very difficult to explain and establish. We should do our role and allow others to play their role. Work under me is a wrong concept. Successful people try for it extensively very often. Give option to everyone. Unit leadership is a great idea. Take leadership and responsibility of the activity that you are initiating.

Such a movement will give opportunity for every person. Let everyone to come to leadership roles. Let everyone to take as much each one can handle and manage. In other words, let people bite as much they can chew. Countries are poor not because there is dearth of hardworking people there. It is because of the greed of the people who are in the power. Imbalance in the remuneration system and lack of transparency in administration are the basic reasons for low initiatives from the youngsters in the country. This should change.

Give the assurance that the state is promoting justice and fair play. One upright Prime Minister cannot make a country to grow perfect. The system also has to become upright. India should travel a lot to reach the status of transparency and truth in the system of administration. Other countries are no better. But, there is openness to create opportunities for people in many countries. We call them advanced countries. Plenty of initiatives will be taken up at every place at every level simultaneously in such conditions. Can we adopt the characteristics of a developed country? Create avenues for revenue! Create opportunities!!

Government and the society should extensively promote informality; flexibility and invisibility in the system. In other words, IFI is the concept of incubation centres. Allow people to grow by putting efforts. Create safe environment and provide ways to progress and flourish. Companies and institutions can adopt this approach as a system to incentivise their employees and staff.

It is as simple as the family management system prevailing in the world. There are plenty of forms. Joint families to micro families, each one choose about the status and operational systems. How brilliantly we make our children to prosper and to be independent while we nurture relationship and values? There may be irregularities and imperfections there as well. But, that’s how we progress in the social, regional and national systems of governance.

We should keep travelling towards perfection always and in all the ways. Create your world as big as you wish and as flexible as you can. Make your team fully informal and totally flexible. You and your team are working together. You can work on many units of activities, each one led by different team members. Such working model is very simple. It will lead the society towards social equality.

Promote leadership skills in every person. Support them unconditionally. Make sure that your participation is visible, unique and measurable. Let people grow in their own ways. Reciprocation is a currency that attracts people to each other. Those who are very selfish will end up in their small little circle of existence and the most flexible, truthful, transparent and sincere will win the entire world. There is no one to set target for you. It is your world. Create it on your way.

We can create plenty of career roles in Tourism and Media Sectors. It will help us to achieve massive career growth at regions with large potential for tourism development. Other sectors also can follow such non-hierarchical models. Use available land and infrastructure to an optimum level. Collective capital forms are far more powerful than overburdened capital forms. To know the difference is the wisdom that we should possess. There should be mergers between fixed capital, micro fixed capital and working capital. These are practiced everywhere but there is no equality and equal opportunities seen at those places.

For eg: The shopping malls at every city are built with capital participation from many people. Losses are borne by people and the profits are taken by the builders is the norm at all such places. Investors are trapped with exaggerations and false promises. Share market is comparatively flexible. Big players often try to manipulate there as well. Rarely get they caught even. In the long run, truth has to sustain and survive for the wellbeing of the larger society and world.

Role of leadership Initiatives in the society building process:

Lack of appropriate leadership is the cause of degeneration in the society. Make the youth to take up leadership roles. Let the process begin with their internship programs in the campuses. Give them opportunity to take up leadership roles in smaller units. Make plenty of such units to work together in a large project. Let each unit leadership to earn revenue with every achievement that they make in the process. Make the projects and units measurable and rewarding. It will inspire students to come into leadership roles without any persuasion or force.

Documentation of success stories in various forms, like articles, books, videos, films etc. is a massive initiative that can handle thousands of students in Joint Internship projects. Organising Festivals of various types with participation of people across the world will make it very big and promising.

Practical Implementation:

Education and Training: Global TV will collaborate with local educational institutions and tourism boards to develop specialized training programs for individuals interested in becoming Tourism Guides. These programs will focus on tour coordination, customer service, and cultural awareness. The aim is to equip Tourism Guides with the necessary skills to effectively coordinate and lead tour and travel programs for individuals and groups.

Recruitment and Placement of Tourism Guides: Global TV, in partnership with local governments and community organizations, will actively recruit and train individuals from various backgrounds for the role of Tourism Guides. This initiative aims to provide stable employment and income opportunities to those who are looking for leadership roles in their career paths. These Tourism Guides will serve as the frontline representatives, coordinating travel itineraries and ensuring memorable experiences for tourists.

Recruitment and Placement of Tourism Ambassadors: Those who wish to nurture their entrepreneurship skills can become Tourism Ambassadors. They can be selected from experienced Tourism Guides as well. Basic knowledge in the field is essential for leadership roles. They can then only be entrusted with the responsibility of managing teams of more than 7 Tourism Guides.

In addition to team management, Tourism Ambassadors will play a pivotal role in creating itineraries that showcase the unique cultural and natural attractions of their regions. They will also conduct promotional campaigns to attract tourists and boost local tourism. They will also collaborate with other tourism ambassadors from various cities in the country and across the world.

Partnerships: Global TV will establish partnerships with local businesses, hotels, and tourism agencies to facilitate the integration of Tourism Guides and Ambassadors into the existing tourism infrastructure. These partnerships will ensure that these new roles enhance the overall visitor experience by promoting responsible and sustainable tourism practices. Innovation is inevitable.

Inter-city Connections: Tourism Ambassadors will not only manage local teams but also engage with Tourism Ambassadors from other cities. This cross-city collaboration aims to share best practices, exchange ideas, and collectively work towards sustainable and inclusive tourism, fostering a sense of community among those involved in this mission.

Setting a Percentage for the Poor:

Tourism Revenue Allocation: Global TV commits to allocating a percentage of its revenue generated through tourism-related programming and content development towards poverty reduction initiatives in the regions where Tourism Guides and Ambassadors operate. This funding will be available for community development projects, job training programs, and infrastructure improvements, thereby directly benefiting the impoverished communities involved. It is always desirable to set higher standards even when we start up with small initiatives. It help to have clarity among the stakeholders about the dynamics of the dream.

Employment Opportunities: A portion of the job opportunities within the Tourism Guide and Ambassador roles will be reserved for individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This commitment aims to provide stable employment and income opportunities to those who may face barriers to traditional career paths. They will be supported by the mentors who are willing to give their time without taking any rewards or remuneration.

Community Engagement: Tourism Guides and Ambassadors will actively engage with local communities to identify their specific needs and challenges. They will also advocate for tourism-related projects that directly benefit the communities they represent. Micro tourism will be immensely promoted.

Impact Assessment: Global TV will establish a robust system for tracking and evaluating the social and economic impact of these initiatives. This data will be used to continuously refine and improve the quality of performance.

By creating and implementing these career roles, Global TV not only enhances the tourism experience but also fosters economic empowerment and community development. This approach aligns with Global TV’s mission to make tourism a force for positive change and poverty reduction while promoting collaboration among Tourism Ambassadors across different cities.

Note:

Campus Partnerships:

Campuses can collaborate with Global TV for Skill Development and internship opportunities for their students. We can provide several Joint Internship avenues for students under mentorship of experts. Practical exposure, collective action and direct supervision are important for successful internships.

Summary:

  1. We should understand the importance of creating new career opportunities, particularly in the Tourism and Media sectors, to empower youth and promote economic vitality and equality in society, particularly in India. There are plenty of opportunities.
  • We should take advantage of the potential for careers such as “Tourism Ambassadors” and “Tourism Guides”.
  • We should take concrete steps for creating career roles for many hundreds of people in each city across the country. Find roles that are prevalent in advanced countries and just replicate.
  • We should always advocate for a non-hierarchical, flexible, and informal approach to leadership and career development. We can then encourage individuals to take up roles that match with their real capabilities, interests and specialisations.
  • We should make sure transparency in economic systems and then encourage initiatives from the younger generation.
  • Take steps to implement these career roles at campuses during internships. Emphasize importance of partnerships, community engagement, and cost effectiveness. Tourism is a cash cow.
  • The ultimate goal is to enhance the tourism experience of guests visiting the district and there by fostering economic and social empowerment and community development, in alignment with Global TV’s mission statement; Together Everyone Flourish.

Join Hands with Green Ambassadors | Criticising them from outside is very easy | Can you create a portion of their work in your lifetime?

Become and Welcome Green Ambassadors | Lead or Join the Reforestation Drive | Suffer a little to Sustain the heat from the concrete jungle | Stop blaming | Take Part | Let the Cities survive | Global TV

By Vineetha K.

Forests are often described as the lungs of our planet, playing a critical role in maintaining ecological balance, mitigating climate change, and supporting biodiversity. However, urbanization and deforestation have significantly reduced forest cover worldwide. In response to this environmental crisis, a new breed of environmentalists has emerged. We call them the Green Ambassadors. There will be a number of them in your city as well. Your responsibility is to find them and to join them in their task of sustaining the city against the heat generated out of the concrete jungles. There is a tendency amongst the public and the press simply to blame the green ambassadors on every small little issue in the city, like mosquitos in the city etc., There is no point in blaming green ambassadors for each and every issue in the city. Instead, we should join them in addressing those issues by finding ways and means to address the issues. This is the way ahead.

We should learn the art of appreciation and the habit of joining hands with those who are relentlessly working for the wellbeing of the nature and people in the city. We can find solutions for all issues related and not related with forestation process by way of identifying the issue and addressing them collectively.

Miyawaki Forest has become the best way for urban forestation.  It is the way for making the city cool and green. There will be many individuals and institutions doing it in your city. These individuals and groups have taken it upon themselves to lead the charge in reforestation efforts in the cities. They are working tirelessly to create greener, healthier, and more sustainable communities. Join them.

When you get a little bad smell from a Miyawaki forest, be sure that the manure is ready and the process of feeding the plants are on. Join the team green to speed up the process, so that the dung is dumped under every tree in the forest. When you see the fence is in bad shape, know it is time for renovation. Find a sponsor or more sponsors to offer new fencing so that the forest is dressed with fresh clothes that are equally important to the tones of oxygen generated in the forest. Fence of an urban forest is the best place for hoardings and advertisements.

Walking in a Miyawaki forest is the best way to fill your lungs with fresh air. You also feel the cool of the forest at the same time. It is the best way to freeze your thoughts from the mad rush of the city. It becomes a meditative process by itself for the whole time that you spend in the forest. Doing some work during the process will fill your mind with positive spirit as well. Collective action will make the city cool in many ways. Take a step towards cleaning up of the city.

The Role of Green Ambassadors

Green Ambassadors are passionate individuals and organizations dedicated to the restoration and expansion of forestation in every space available within the urban landscapes. Village forestation is also very important. City forestation is lifesaving more than village forestation that is equally important in the long run. Green and green ambassadors are equally important. They serve as the catalysts for positive change, inspiring local communities to embrace the importance of forests and actively participate in tree planting and conservation initiatives.

Education and Awareness: Green Ambassadors should understand that change begins with awareness and education. They should organize workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to inform people about the benefits of trees and forests, from improving air quality to providing habitat for wildlife. Educational and social institutions should take the lead in the process. Collective efforts are colorful.

Community Engagement: Green ambassadors foster a sense of ownership and responsibility among community members. They involve local residents in tree planting drives, giving them a direct stake in the success of reforestation efforts.

Partnerships: Green Ambassadors can also collaborate with governmental bodies, non-profit organizations, and businesses to pool resources and expertise. Such partnerships can amplify the impact of reforestation initiatives and ensure long-term sustainability. The advertisement value in Miyawaki forests on highway sides is larger than the possibilities at many other parts in the city.

Sustainable Practices: Green Ambassadors always and in all the ways emphasize sustainable planting and maintenance practices. They will ensure the survival and growth of newly planted trees. They have knowledge on proper species selection, watering, and protection from pests and disease. They will make things better.

Monitoring and Advocacy: Green Ambassadors monitor the health of existing forests and advocate for policies that protect and expand green spaces in urban and rural areas. They engage with local authorities to promote environmentally friendly practices. Joining hands with green ambassadors will make you connected with the large society and the people who are socially oriented and mutually supportive.

Urban Reforestation

In densely populated cities, the work of Green Ambassadors is particularly crucial. Urban reforestation has several benefits:

Improved Air Quality: Trees act as natural air filters, removing pollutants and releasing oxygen. Increased urban greenery can significantly enhance air quality.

Heat Island Reduction: Urban forests provide shade and reduce the urban heat island effect, helping to combat rising temperatures in cities.

Enhanced Aesthetics: Green spaces and tree-lined streets make urban areas more attractive and inviting, contributing to the well-being of city dwellers.

Biodiversity Conservation: Urban forests can serve as habitats for various species of birds, insects, and small mammals, contributing to urban biodiversity.

Village Reforestation

In rural areas, Green Ambassadors play a vital role in preserving and expanding existing forested lands:

Economic Opportunities: Village reforestation can create sustainable livelihoods through activities like agroforestry, non-timber forest product collection, and eco-tourism.

Soil Conservation: Trees and forests help prevent soil erosion and maintain soil fertility, benefiting agriculture and food security.

Water Resource Management: Forests play a critical role in regulating water flow, which is vital for maintaining a steady supply of clean water for agriculture and domestic use.

Green Ambassadors are the unsung heroes of the reforestation movement, working tirelessly to bring about positive change in both urban and rural settings. Their dedication to create and spread green and sustainable environments not only benefits current generations but also lays the foundation for a healthier planet for generations to come. As individuals, communities, and nations, it is our responsibility to support and emulate the work of the Green Ambassadors in our own cities and communities. Let us foster a global culture of reforestation and environmental guard ship. Together, we can transform our cities and villages into vibrant, green oases of life and biodiversity.

National Pride and Personal Egos

National pride and personal egos are two formidable forces that shape our identities and interactions within the local society. These forces often exist in a delicate equilibrium, influencing our attitudes and behaviors in profound ways. We should explore the complexity between national pride, which fosters a sense of collective identity and unity, and personal egos, which often prioritise individual desires and recognition. By examining the dynamics of these two aspects of human nature, we can gain a deeper understanding of how they traverse and sometimes clash, affecting the well-being of nations and their citizens.

Understanding National Pride:

National pride is a powerful sentiment that unites people under the banner of a common homeland. It is the deep-seated loyalty and attachment individuals feel toward their country, stemming from shared history, culture, and collective achievements. National pride provides a sense of purpose and identity that extends beyond an individual’s personal life. It can inspire a deep sense of responsibility to contribute to the betterment of the nation as a whole.

The Role of Personal Egos:

Conversely, personal egos are innate aspects of our psyche that emphasize our individualism and self-centered desires. Egos often manifest as a need for recognition, competitiveness, and an unwavering focus on personal ambitions. While these egotistical tendencies are natural, they can sometimes be at odds with the ideals of national pride. This conflict emerges when individuals prioritize their personal desires and ambitions over the greater good of their nation.

National Pride and Personal Achievements:

A notable arena where the tension between national pride and personal egos becomes evident is in the pursuit of personal achievements. Individuals often aspire to attain success, recognition, and personal goals. However, this aspiration can conflict with the overarching objectives of their nation, making it a challenging task to strike a harmonious balance.

The Dangers of Overbearing Egos:

When personal egos dominate, it can lead to negative consequences. Corruption, selfishness, and a lack of cooperation can arise when leaders prioritize their personal interests over the welfare of their nation. Such behavior erodes trust, undermines unity, and poses a significant threat to a country’s stability and progress. This is happening in many countries. People are mesmerised in the name of national pride and the sentiments are used for personal greed of some people. This happens at various levels. Sometimes the top engine goes upright but the bogies derail the development process. Hole in the bogies make the whole thing to collapse. Some bogies become empty while reaching the destination.

Fostering Healthy National Pride:

To foster a harmonious relationship between national pride and personal egos, it is imperative to cultivate a healthy sense of patriotism. Encouraging citizens to take pride in their nation’s accomplishments while promoting humility, cooperation, and a collective vision is paramount. Leaders bear a profound responsibility in setting an example, demonstrating their commitment to the greater good and prioritizing national interests over personal gain.

To match between national pride and personal egos, finding equilibrium is essential for the well-being of a nation. Personal egos, being a natural facet of human psychology, should not overshadow the principles of unity and collective progress that national pride embodies. A society that values both individual achievements and the common good is more likely to thrive and prosper.

It is the collective responsibility of individuals and their leaders to navigate this intricate balance, thereby fostering not only a stronger nation but also a more harmonious world.

Key Principle:

The concept of “Emotional Economics” is an approach to foster connections, celebrating success, generating revenue, sharing it with all stakeholders and contributing 10% of all revenue for well-being of the less privileged.

Emotional Economics is all about creation of an informal referral media circle. You can be a part of it by identify the youth who are media friendly. Step 1: Establishing the Referral Media Circle

The foundation of Emotional Economics is the creation of an informal referral media circle to bring few likeminded people just to be connected with one another. Media Circle (MC) can be formed at anywhere with a minimum number of seven people joining the informal forum. A Media Circle can include individuals, organizations, youth or professionals from varied backgrounds. People coming together to connect, collaborate, and support one another is the basic principle of MC. The circle serves as a platform for sharing ideas, appreciating achievements, creating opportunities, and sharing resources with one another. Coming together is the beginning.

Step 2: Fostering Connections and Collaboration

Fostering connections and enriching collaborations is the paramount principle of Referral Media Circle (RMC). It’s about leveraging the collective knowledge and expertise of the members to create synergies. Whatever you are passionate to do is silently supported by the circle. This can include connecting events, online forums, true verification of eligibility for receiving help and support from individuals and other agencies, platforms that facilitate collaboration, creating awareness about the possibilities creation of revenue opportunities for the people around. You can join a Media Circle simply by creating a broadcast group in Whatsapp.

Step 3: Recognizing Successful Individuals

A crucial aspect of Emotional Economics is the celebration of success. Members of the referral media circle can collaborate with welcoming institutions to recognize and honor individuals who have achieved remarkable milestones in their respective fields. This recognition can take the form of awards, features in media outlets, or presenting them in public events. Do it professionally by generating sponsorships and advertisements. Make it a revenue model with appropriate sharing terms.

Step 4: Creating Revenue Streams

To sustain the Emotional Economics and to benefit its stakeholders, it’s essential to establish revenue streams. These can originate from various sources. Organizing TV Shows, Media Conferences, or hosting sponsored events can generate revenue streams occasionally or continually. The key is to ensure that the people involved in the process are remunerated appropriately. Reinvest a portion of the revenue for the activities of the media circle. Make sure that the 10% goes for charity always.

Step 5: Revenue Sharing and Remuneration

The spirit of Emotional Economics is in generation of wealth and sharing of it with those who are eligible to get it. A portion of the revenue generated is allocated to remunerate the stakeholders who contribute to the circle’s success. This can include organizers, mentors, broadcasters, and individuals who facilitate connections and collaborations. Rest of the revenue directly goes to those who are identified and enrolled among the charity network of the referral media circle.

Step 6: Commitment to Charity

One of the most impactful facets of Emotional Economics is its commitment to charity. A fundamental principle is to allocate a significant portion of the revenue in addition to the 10% that the individuals share on their revenue streams. Basic idea of RMC is to support the well-being of the less fortunate. This commitment to charity extends beyond the circle’s boundaries, creating a positive ripple effect in the community. RMC and its members will also grow substantially in the process. Who is at first priority and what next all relative terms in this context that can be different between two RMCs! People who are service minded are seen successful at every place. Every good that you do comes back to you in multiples.

The allocation of 10% of the revenue to support the less privileged is a powerful act of kindness and solidarity. These funds can be directly given or collectively utilized for the beneficiaries towards various purposes. Providing food, education, shelter, or medical assistance are the basic steps.
