Odiyur Shri Gurudevadatta Sansthanam to Organise Mega Free Medical Camp on August 2

As part of the birth anniversary celebrations of Poojya Odiyur Shri Gurudevananda Swamiji, the Birth Anniversary Celebration Committee of Odiyur Shri Gurudevadatta Sansthanam will organise a Mega Free Medical Service Camp on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the Rajangana of the Sansthanam.

The camp will offer a wide range of free healthcare services, including blood donation, cardiac, orthopaedic and dental check-ups and treatment, AYUSH health check-ups and treatment, and free eye screening and treatment.

The medical camp is being conducted in collaboration with Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital, Mangaluru; A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Deralakatte; Prasad Netralaya Super Speciality Eye Hospital, Mangaluru; Onsite Essilor Luxottica Foundation, Bengaluru; Wenlock District Hospital Blood Bank, Mangaluru; Primary Health Centre, Kaniyoor; and Sharada Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Mangaluru.

The programme will begin with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and blessings by Paramapoojya Shri Shri Gurudevananda Swamiji, in the divine presence of Sadhvi Shri Shri Matanandamayi.

Several distinguished guests from the medical fraternity will grace the occasion, including Dr Sandeep Bekal R., Principal and Chief Executive Officer, Sharada Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital; Dr Sharathkumar Rao, Head of the Blood Bank, Wenlock District Hospital; Dr Mithra N. Hegde, Principal, A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences; Dr Ananthan R., Professor and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital; Dr Aishwarya, Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre, Kaniyoor; and Mr Dharmaprasad Rai, Chief Manager, Onsite Essilor Luxottica Foundation, Bengaluru.

The organising committee, headed by Lokanath G. Shetty, President, has extended a warm invitation to devotees and the general public to participate in the medical camp and make use of the free healthcare services.
