As part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Mar Baselios Christian College of Engineering & Technology, the inaugural ceremony was held grandly on 16th July 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the college auditorium. The event was organized by the management, Principal, faculty members, and students of the institution.
The programme was inaugurated by His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, Malankara Metropolitan and Catholicos of the East. The function was presided over by H.G. Zachariah Mar Severios Metropolitan, Manager of the college.
During the event, the Silver Jubilee projects were inaugurated by Adv. Cyriac Thomas, MLA, Peermade. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Ciza Thomas, Vice Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The programme commenced with a prayer song by the college choir, followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr. Oommen Mammen, Director of the college. Several distinguished guests from various fields extended their felicitations. The notable dignitaries present included:

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Santhosh Simon, Principal of the college. The Silver Jubilee celebration marked the successful completion of 25 years of excellence and served as a new beginning towards greater achievements in the future. The event was a grand success with the active participation of students, faculty, and distinguished guests.
