THE MISSION OF ORGAN DONATION CONTINUES…

Yesterday (22nd August 2026), after addressing two organ donation awareness programmes at renowned educational institutions in Agra, I headed straight to Maa Saraswati Hospital, Mathura, where Mumbai-based metabolic surgeon Rtn Dr Ramen Goel performed my gallbladder removal surgery.

My first episode of abdominal pain occurred in Puducherry on 1st August, during the National Transplant Games, where I had the honour of being the Chief Guest. A second, much more severe episode occurred in Mumbai on 5th August. Investigations revealed a 5 mm gallbladder stone.

As I was on blood thinners and had several organ donation programmes already scheduled, I chose to undergo the surgery in Mathura so that I could recover quickly and continue my mission.

I am happy to share that the surgery was successful, and I am now recovering well and preparing for my next tour to spread the message of organ donation.

My heartfelt gratitude to Rtn Dr Ramen Goel, the entire team at Maa Saraswati Hospital, and all of you for your blessings, good wishes and prayers.

The journey continues. The mission continues.

With your blessings, I will continue to create awareness and inspire more people to become organ donors.
