MJ JACOB | Set Standards and Time Frame; You can Achieve Greater Targets in Life; Says MJ Jacob, Former MLA who is an inspiring Athlete Today | Global TV

The Inspiring Story of M.J. Jacob, the 84-Year-Old Academician and Politician Turned into an Athletic Icon | Global TV

NV Paulose, Chairman, Global TV +91 98441 82044

Make a system and create an order in your life; you can lead a thrilling  In an era where slowing down seems inevitable as years pile on, M.J. Jacob, an 84-year-old athletic marvel, stands as a beacon of determination, resilience, and boundless enthusiasm. His story is not just one of personal triumph but an enduring lesson for generations about the power of grit and a never-say-die attitude.

Jacob’s journey began in the lush landscapes of Kerala, where, as a young man, he aspired to excel not only in academics but also in sports and public service. Born into the Vaidya family, he carried the weight of tradition while fostering dreams that reached far beyond.

By 1961, he had etched his name in history as the university champion in hurdles while studying at UC College, Aluva. Yet life, with its unpredictable twists, threw a challenge his way that would have ended his dreams. An accident during a bull-training event in Kakkoor broke his leg and put an abrupt pause to his athletic pursuits. But he came back into the sporting life and chose to tell us many success stories instead of that small little accident incident.

A Journey Rekindled at 65

For decades, MJ Jacob’s focus shifted to academics and politics. His accomplishments there was also notable. Earning degrees in BSc Chemistry and MA English Literature and serving as the MLA of Piravom, where his leadership transformed Thirumarady into Kerala’s best panchayat. His intellect, charisma, and unyielding commitment to public welfare earned him the respect of his peers and the trust of his constituents.

But Jacob’s love for athletics never left him. In 2006, at the age of 65, while inaugurating the Ernakulam Masters Meet, a spark reignited. Watching athletes push their limits awakened his dormant passion. Instead of standing on the side lines, he decided to step into the arena. That moment marked the beginning of an extraordinary comeback. He could make it one that would take him to international glory.

The World Stage: A Legacy of Medals

MJ Jacob’s return to athletics became a journey of excellence. Over the years, he has represented India in the World Masters Athletics Meets held across the globe. His footprints were recorded in France, Australia, Spain, Finland, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, China, and the Philippines. His recent victory in the Philippines, where he clinched gold in the 2000m steeplechase and 80m hurdles and silver in the long jump and triple jump, adds another chapter to his inspiring legacy.

Even at 84, Jacob moves ahead with confidence and the thrill involved in sports and in sporty attitude. Riding his 1974 Bullet bike through the winding roads of Kerala, he exudes the vitality of a man decades younger. His sights are now set on World Athletics Meets, where he dreams of clinching gold in hurdles and long jump. A goal in life is a Gold waiting for you; he says. Always keep fuelling your dreams and undergo rigorous training with unrelenting optimism.

Lessons for Youngsters and Elders Alike

MJ Jacob’s story is a treasure trove of lessons, a testimony to the human spirit that transcends age, setbacks, and societal expectations. Here are some key takeaways:

1. Never Too Late to Begin Again

Jacob’s life underscores that it is never too late to rekindle your passion. At 65, when most people settle into retirement, he reignited his athletic career. His example shows that age is a number, not a limitation, and dreams can be pursued at any stage of life.

2. Resilience in the Face of Adversity

Life threw Jacob a curveball early in his career with a debilitating injury. Instead of letting it define him, he found other avenues for growth; academics and public service, and later returned to his first love, athletics. His resilience is a reminder that setbacks are stepping stones to comebacks.

3. The Importance of Fitness and Discipline

Jacob’s athletic success at 84 is not by accident but a result of disciplined training, careful attention to health, and a positive mindset. For youngsters, this emphasizes the value of starting early and staying consistent. For elders, it is proof that maintaining an active lifestyle can transform the aging process.

4. Embrace Adventure

Whether it’s competing on the global stage or riding his vintage Bullet bike, Jacob’s love for adventure is infectious. He reminds us that life is meant to be lived fully, with courage and curiosity.

5. A Legacy Beyond Medals

Jacob’s achievements go beyond the glitter of medals. He inspires not just through his athletic feats but also through his humility, commitment to community service, and ability to adapt and thrive in different phases of life.

The Man, the Legend, the Inspiration

M.J. Jacob is a phenomenon. His life bridges the gap between generations, showing youngsters the value of perseverance and elders the potential of living with purpose and vitality. As he prepares for his next challenge, MJ Jacob will continue to inspire, reminding us all that the spirit of a champion knows no age.

So, whether you’re a teenager dreaming big or a retiree looking for a second innings, Jacob’s story calls out to you: lace up your shoes, chase your dreams, and challenge the odds. After all, as MJ Jacob himself might say, the race is not over until you decide it is.

Dr. PP Devan: The Miracle Doctor Who Redefined Healing | They way we should Reinvent Ourselves | Global TV

NV Paulose, Chairman, Global TV +91 98441 82044

Dr. PP Devan is a distinguished Doctor and professor at AJ Institute of Medical Sciences. He has been making waves in the medical world with ground breaking approaches to curing ailments that mainstream medicine often labels incurable. His story of success is of perseverance, day and night dedication, transformation of self and others, and an unwavering commitment to humanity.

A Journey Forged Through Struggle

Dr. PP Devan’s life is a testimony to the age-old adage, “Success is hard-earned.” His philosophy is deeply rooted in his personal experiences. He always focuses and underscores the necessity of extraordinary effort for extraordinary outcomes. “100% effort yields 10% benefit,” he says, echoing the wisdom of nature’s slow yet purposeful growth. Human success stories are like that of a banyan tree. His relentless pursuit of excellence has been the cornerstone of his journey.

His determination was most evident after a life-altering stroke on October 28, 2023. Faced with paralysis and immense suffering, Dr. PP Devan turned adversity into opportunity. “Failure is the stepping stone to success,” he asserts, recounting how his struggle gave him time to introspect, research, and discover methods to overcome high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. Shedding 40 kilograms and reversing chronic conditions of blood pressure, sugar and other ailments. He emerged stronger to guide many more including doctors and others to live a life of embodiment, resilience and innovation.

A Visionary in Medical Science

Dr. PP Devan’s unique ability to view challenges as opportunities has led him to pioneer treatments for conditions like vertigo, migraines, and allergies. His discovery of the role of fluid accumulation in the endolymphatic sac in persistent vertigo and his innovative approach to treating allergies are just a few examples of his trailblazing work.

“Answers come only when you think about a problem to the exclusion of all else,” he says. His unyielding focus and dedication have enabled him to address medical mysteries that others overlooked. From curing anxiety and depression through hypnosis to reversing heart blockages and preventing strokes, Dr. PP Devan’s methods have brought hope to countless people.

Lessons from the Lowest Point

Reflecting on his stroke, Dr. PP Devan acknowledges it as a turning point in his life. “Without that suffering, the newer version of me wouldn’t exist,” he says. This experience reinforced his belief that pain and struggle are often prerequisites for transformation. His journey mirrors the stories of many great achievers who have endured extreme hardships to emerge victorious.

Reinvention: The Key to Longevity

Dr. PP Devan attributes much of his success to his ability to continuously reinvent himself. “If you don’t evolve, you’ll be left behind,” he warns, urging professionals to refine their skills and adapt to changing times. This mind set has driven him to discover ground breaking solutions that remain unmatched even decades later.

A Humble Call to Action

Despite his remarkable achievements, Dr. PP Devan remains humble, emphasizing the importance of introspection and humility. “Throw off the weights of arrogance, jealousy, and ego, and you’ll rise like a balloon shedding its anchors,” he advises. His belief in giving back is equally profound. He intensely advocates everyone for sharing 10% of your earnings with friends, neighbours, well-wishers and colleagues to retain the blessings of wealth.

A Legacy of Healing and Hope

Dr. PP Devan is a great hope for those who face insurmountable challenges. His messages are very clear: suffering can lead to success, and unwavering effort can unlock the doors to unimaginable possibilities. As a “Miracle Doctor,” he not only cures diseases but also inspires lives. The human spirit when coupled with determination and innovation, can achieve the extraordinary.

Through his work, Dr. PP Devan has redefined healing and reshaped the way we perceive struggle, success, and the power of the human will. His story serves as a powerful reminder that even in the face of adversity, miracles are possible.

AI in Media | Appreciative Inquiry (AI) in Media | Global TV is a Collective Collaborative Cumulative Mass Media Movement | You are Welcome +9198441 82044

A lock is a nightmare for you, until you find it’s key. A problem is a nightmare for you, until you find a solution for it. Finding a solution for a problem is a similar task like finding the right key for the lock. Sometimes you will be the key for opening a lock.

Universe has designed everything in it in the form of locks and keys. Check where you are the key and work on those areas that you can make a difference.

  • By resolving problems, we can only maintain the status quo. You need to work on your strengths when you really wanted to grow and prosper. Problems will automatically disappear when you start working on your strengths.

Discovering the Power Within

Can you begin to imagine a world where problems are not obstacles, but stepping stones to growth? What if every challenge you face was an opportunity to discover your hidden potential?

Global TV is the first Internet TV in the world. Global TV Media Platform is inspired by the Tel Aviv Speech of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Our Media Process underwent many transformations. All through our developed streams, we spread our operations into all media streams including Collective Book Publishing.

We have followed Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Principles which is an approach based on the strengths of the people, the potential existing all around and the ways and means to achieve collective and collaborative progress in the society. We opt Common Sense (CS) being the best technology in making use of all the facilities and technologies that are available for achieving everyone’s targets.

We believe in mutuality and flexibility in all our actions. We give freedom to all our associates and take freedom to stay with each other as long as we are able to maintain the principles of mutual respect and flexibility. This approach empowers us to view the world through the lens of possibilities and to draw the dimensions of our growth chart fairly well freely and without fear or favour.

By focusing on our inherent strengths and the positive aspects of our experiences, each one of us can transform the challenges that appear before us into catalysts for unparalleled success. Collective and Collaborative approach will help us to identify and partner with right kind of people and institutions.

The Lock and Key Analogy

Life individually and in various positions of responsibilities is like a giant puzzle made up of locks and keys. Challenges, much like locks, may seem difficult at first. However, when we focus on our unique abilities and our strengths, they become the keys that unlock these barriers.

Sometimes, you don’t just find the key; you are the key. The universe has a purpose for each of us, and it has intricately designed us to make a difference in areas where our strengths align with the world’s needs.

It’s all about finding where you fit right in and where your strengths can create a meaningful impact. Identifying these areas, polishing your skills, and applying them effectively is the path to unlocking not only solutions to problems but also boundless opportunities for growth and prosperity.

From Problem-Solving to Strengths-Based Growth

Problems demand attention, and solving them is necessary to maintain the current state of affairs. Maintaining the status quo is not growth. It is stagnation, in fact. Real transformation happens when you go beyond problem-solving and tap into your strengths. This is where Appreciative Inquiry becomes a game-changer.

It works multiple scale and levels when it is applied in Media Platforms like Global TV. The Cumulative effect of Collective and Collaborative Mass Media Massive approach is as great as we feel them while reading itself.

Can you imagine how many levels it can grow when applied with Collective, Collaborative, Cumulative and Massive implementation? Everything has to begin at Micro level and then has to grow into Macro levels. There is no confusion here like whether the egg is first or the hen is first. Make it variable at Micro level and then scale them up into Macro level like a building on a Strong foundation.

Appreciative Inquiry encourages us to ask empowering questions like:

  1. What are my unique strengths?
  2. How have I succeeded in the past?
  3. How can I amplify what is already working well?

By focusing on these strengths, you not only address existing problems but also create a foundation for sustained growth and innovation. In this mind set, problems cease to be discouraging; they dissolve as your strengths grow larger and more impactful. Keep going and it is as good as you keep growing.

Magnifying Growth with Global TV’s Media Platform

Imagine standing on a platform where your voice is amplified, your strengths are celebrated, and your potential is nurtured. This is exactly what Global TV’s two decades plus strong media platform offers you with a vast network of mentorship, guidance, and connectivity that empowers you to unlock your full potential.

The Power of Large-Scale Connectivity

Global TV’s media platform is a positive and progressive movement. We do not trust the politicians but believe that they are the people who had created a strong foundation for India as a nation. We cannot assure you that the politicians are not corrupt but we are sure no one will do corruption when there are alternatives ways available to meet their requirements. Do anyone got any alternative systems?

Beyond academic achievements, Chetan’s mentorship extends to addressing grassroots challenges and promoting societal upliftment. His initiatives, which include creating employment opportunities and nurturing entrepreneurship, reflect a dual commitment to global standards and local impact. Recognized for his innovative contributions, he has touched countless lives, enabling students to build successful careers and contribute towards the society at large.

Looking ahead, he is dedicated to expand the institute’s reach and strengthen the connection between education and employability. His visionary leadership is an inspiring example of how education can be a transformative force for individuals and society alike. He is a trendsetter for a brighter and more equitable society.

His wife, Annette Sonia, who completed her Ph.D. at NITK Surathkal, is an Assistant Professor at the Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology. Together, they are raising their daughter, Aanya Samruddhi, who currently studies at the prestigious St. Theresa’s School in Mangalore.

A Foundation of Strength and Simplicity

The first and foremost turning point in Chetan Rajuratna’s life was the family he was born into. With parents who were both highly educated and deeply understanding, the values instilled in him created a bedrock for success. His parents celebrated over 50 years of marital harmony, a golden anniversary marked not by grand gestures but by mutual respect and quiet support. Never arguing, they corrected and motivated each other, showing their children what a true partnership looked like.

Chetan’s father, a man of strong principles, served as a Tahsildar for 18 years before becoming an assistant commissioner. Despite his rank, he exemplified humility by cycling to his office daily, using the official vehicle only for work purposes. His mother, a Principal, balanced career and family with remarkable composure. She took a break from her professional life to ensure her children received a strong foundation in education, staying with them until they were ready to get to middle school. These choices, though seemingly small, shaped Chetan’s early worldview and taught him the value of simplicity, discipline, and responsibility.

Discovering Individuality in Engineering

A second major moment came during Chetan’s academic journey. Pressured by his uncle, a bishop and the president of the prestigious CMC Vellore, to pursue medicine, which was free then, he realized early on that it wasn’t his calling. Despite securing respectable marks, he knew he didn’t meet the competitive requirements of CMC and decided to chart his own path in engineering. This decision marked the start of his quest for independence and self-discovery.

Leaving the comfort of his home in Mysore, Chetan chose to study in Tumkur, seeking a life of adventure and autonomy. It was his first experience away from familial support, and it taught him invaluable lessons in survival. From managing finances to learning to cook, he began to understand the nuances of adult life. However, the freedom came with its challenges. The allure of carefree friendships and distractions led to a decline in his academic performance during his second year, a wake-up call that would become another significant turning point.

A Father’s Sacrifice and a Year of Transformation

When Chetan’s academic journey faltered, his father made a remarkable decision that changed the course of his life. Despite being at the peak of his career, serving as an assistant commissioner in a politically volatile district, his father opted for voluntary retirement to support his son. This selfless act underscored the family’s core values of prioritizing relationships over professional ambition.

For over a year, Chetan’s father stayed with him, preparing meals, monitoring his studies, and encouraging him to focus on his goals. Not one to waste time, he also immersed himself in learning engineering subjects and even began writing a book. His presence was transformative for Chetan, who found his focus and began excelling academically. The success that followed was an accolade to his father’s guidance and the unwavering belief in his potential.

A Lesson in Responsibility

Once Chetan regained his footing, his father stepped back, leaving him with an essential lesson: the importance of self-reliance. By allowing Chetan to stand on his own after helping him recover academically, his father demonstrated that true support doesn’t foster dependency but build capabilities. This turning point not only marked the beginning of Chetan’s academic success but also instilled in him a sense of responsibility that would guide him throughout his life.

The Impact of Family and Values

Chetan’s story tells the profound impact of family and values in shaping one’s life. Each turning point, from his parents’ selfless sacrifices to his own moments of reckoning, reflects the strength of a foundation built on discipline, humility, and love. These moments transformed him into a person capable of overcoming challenges and achieving success.
Success Stories: A Journey of Learning and Growth

The First Taste of Success: Engineering Projects that Made a Difference

During the sixth semester of engineering, he ventured on a transformative project with KMF Nandini, focused on optimizing milk distribution routes in Tumkur city using Operations Research (OR) principles. The task was daunting: reducing the five existing distribution routes to four without compromising efficiency or missing delivery points. This meant waking up at 2:30 a.m. daily and committing six months to fieldwork. Alongside two dedicated classmates, we worked relentlessly to achieve this goal.

They successfully implemented a more efficient system. This not only saved resources but also became a significant achievement for their institution, setting us apart from the trend of buying projects to work hard to really do it out. The work validated the real-world impact of engineering principles and created a sense of identity within the college.

The success continued into the eighth semester with another project, this time at HAL’s Helicopter Division. Here, he worked on Cheetah Chetak helicopter models, delving into lean management concepts inspired by Japanese practices. Over seven months, he gained hands-on exposure to advanced design and management techniques. Scoring 98% on this project cemented its legacy as a milestone in his academic journey. These two experiences overshadowed the theoretical achievements across 64 subjects in engineering curriculum, proving the power of real-world applications.

From Student to Educator

Before the final project presentation, a life-changing moment unfolded. Principal of the college recognized his potential and offered him a lecturer position. Without waiting for the final results, he transitioned himself from a student to teaching junior his batches. It was an honour to him teach subjects like MIS (Management Information Systems) and even MBA-level courses when a lecturer went on maternity leave. This early opportunity to contribute to academia felt like a feather in his cap and fuelled his passion for education.

Industry Exposure: Bridging Academics and Practicality

After his tenure as a lecturer, Chetan Rajuratna transitioned into the industrial sector to gain practical, hands-on experience. His journey began at Stumpp Schuele and Somappa Pvt. Ltd., inspired by the guidance of his brother and uncle. Starting as a maintenance engineer, he undertook challenging tasks such as cleaning machines and replacing belts and oil. Out of ten newly hired engineers, only two, including Chetan Rajuratna, persevered through this demanding phase.

His patience paid off when he was entrusted with redesigning a short pinning machine using the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) framework. This was a new experience adding value to his technical acumen and ability to deliver significant improvements through dedicated effort.

Mr. Chetan then joined LPS Bossard, a Switzerland based fasteners manufacturing and trading company as value Engineer, where he expanded his expertise in international client relations and gained first hand insights into the fast-paced nature of trading. His responsibilities included traveling to plants in cities like Rohtak and Chennai, resolving staffing issues, and strengthening industry networks. These opportunities, along with milestones such as being provided a company laptop and travel allowances, marked meaningful progress in his career and fuelled his motivation.

During his eighth semester in Bangalore, Chetan balanced multiple roles, including serving as a Reader Relations Executive for the Times of India. Rising early each day, he managed newspaper distribution and subscription outreach, achieving 30 conversions per month despite the challenges. His role also provided a unique chance to play for the Times of India cricket team, blending work with recreation and teamwork.
These diverse experiences from engineering projects to industrial roles and media engagements have shaped Chetan Rajuratna into a well-grounded professional. Each challenge he faced and lesson he learned has contributed to a robust foundation, inspiring his continued pursuit of excellence across various domains.

Personal Growth through Adaptability

Transitioning from industry to academia as the Principal of Hebich Technical Training Institute was a leap of faith, overcoming challenges with determination, community support, and adaptability. The move to a new region and a reduced salary was daunting, but with a strong sense of purpose, the role was embraced.
The recognition and national awards achieved during this time were not just a reflection of individual effort but of the collective commitment of a dedicated team. A focus on continuous improvement, honed through earlier experiences with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), helped propel the institute to new heights of excellence.

On a personal level, a strong support system, including a loving spouse and daughter, played a crucial role in ensuring that professional achievements did not come at the cost of personal well-being. The importance of networking, maintaining relationships, and presenting value-based honesty and transparency became clear throughout the journey.

Gratitude for God’s blessings and the guidance of mentors reinforced a deep sense of humility and teamwork, underscoring the importance of collective effort. This journey exemplifies the power of resilience, community, and continuous learning in realizing both professional success and personal fulfilment.

  • A Journey of Overcoming Challenges: Embracing Growth

Life has rarely been a bed of roses for him. His early years were marked by significant challenges, particularly in the academic sphere. Due to his father’s frequent transfers, he studied in Kannada medium schools until the 7th standard. When he transitioned to an English medium school in the 8th standard, the language felt foreign, almost like Arabic to him. However, thanks to the unwavering support of his parents, he didn’t back down.

Professional challenges would follow him into his career. One particular incident stands out vividly in his memory. While working for LPS Bossard, he accompanied his General Manager to meet a client at a Japanese company. During their journey, the GM, who owned a Santro car, showed off his expensive Oxygen mobile phone, which was a luxury at the time. When he inquired about the phone, the GM dismissed him with a remark: “Don’t even think about buying it. You can’t afford it.” While this could have been discouraging, it sparked something inside him a determination to prove that he, too, could reach such heights. This moment became a challenge that pushed him to work harder.

Upon reaching their destination, another incident reinforced his resolve. The GM had parked his car incorrectly, and the watchman asked him to fix it. However, the GM refused to let anyone else park it, even when the opportunity arose. The words he said, “People like you should know your place,” struck a chord deep within him. Instead of accepting the insult, he decided that if he wanted to buy that phone and drive that car, he would earn them himself. This fuelled his ambition, prompting him to start saving money, and buy them one by one.

There was another setback when he applied for a position with LG Equipment’s in Coimbatore. After clearing all the interviews and commercial negotiations, he was asked to meet with the Vice President. The VP, however, doubted his experience, thinking he was falsifying details. Despite explaining that he had been doing multiple roles due to colleagues leaving, the VP dismissed him harshly, saying, “If this poor man is bluffing, get him out of here.” While it was a painful rejection, he didn’t let it define him. Instead, it motivated him to pursue other opportunities, including his eventual role at Bosch Speakers, turning what seemed like a negative experience into a springboard for future success.

When he moved to Mangalore, he faced yet another round of challenges adapting to a new culture, language, and environment. Yet, the kindness and support he received from the people of Mangalore proved to be a turning point in his life. Despite the uncertainties, he chose to embrace the new challenges, knowing that growth would come with time. He realized that patience and persistence were essential traits for navigating the complexities of life.
Through his experiences, he learned that success is not solely defined by professional accomplishments or material gains. True success lies in the ability to overcome adversity with patience, resilience, and a positive outlook. He realized that setbacks and challenges are not permanent obstacles, but opportunities to learn, grow, and adapt. And most importantly, he learned that the key to enduring hardships lies in maintaining a patient, steady approach to life’s ups and downs.

Over the course of 18 years in Mangalore, both in his personal and professional life, he remained steadfast in his belief that patience could create wonders. He understood that things would not always unfold as planned, and that challenges would continue to arise. Yet, by maintaining his focus and patience, he was able to turn every setback into an opportunity for growth. The journey, as difficult as it has been, has led him to a place of self-assurance and inner peace.

In the end, the lesson he carries with him is simple: life’s challenges are inevitable, but they are not insurmountable. With patience, perseverance, and a commitment to self-improvement, any obstacle can be transformed into an opportunity.

After moving to Mangalore, he assumed significant roles that extended beyond his immediate professional responsibilities. He was appointed as the principal and ex-officio executive member of the Karnataka Christian Educational Society, General body member of KACES and the hostel working committee contributing to the organization’s protocol. Furthermore, his involvement in professional associations such as the Mangalore Management Association, the Productivity Council, the Dakshina Kannada & Udupi ITI Employees Association and DK & Udupi Management and Principal’s Association helped expand his influence in the local community.

However, one of the core principles he lived by was not seeking positions through elections, unless chosen unanimously by his peers. He firmly believed that if others wanted him to take up a role, they would select him, but he chose not to participate in voting systems. This mindset, cultivated over the years, reflected his personal values of humility and understanding of how leadership should work.

In addition to his educational leadership, he became deeply involved in the electoral process. From 2018 through 2024, he was appointed as a flying squad member for four consecutive elections, working closely with various election officers and administrative bodies. His role gave him valuable insights into the workings of the election system, which he found to be a fascinating and complex process. Reflecting on his experience, he said that the electoral system had its flaws but also presented an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to democratic processes. His dedication to the election system was not without personal sacrifice, but it helped him build stronger connections with local police, district administration, and key government officials, which he viewed as another blessing in his journey.

Beyond the mechanics of election work, his experience with commercial tax officer allowed him to maintain direct communication with high-ranking officials. He appreciated the support he received from the GST commissioner, which often helped him resolve issues efficiently. This was a direct result of his years of diligence and involvement in the election process, which he still considered an ongoing learning experience.

Looking towards the future, he stressed the importance of preparing the younger generation for the rapidly changing world. With the rise of artificial intelligence and tools like ChatGPT, he pointed out that students must focus on honing their cognitive abilities and critical thinking skills rather than just relying on technology. He also noted how social media can either positively or negatively influence young minds, urging students to focus on long-term goals rather than short-term trends. This, he argued, was essential to personal development and success in an increasingly complex world.

He also emphasized the importance of mental health, noting the growing challenges faced by today’s youth. Depression and other mental health issues have become more prominent, and he believed it was crucial to create more open channels for communication and support. Reflecting on societal changes, he pointed out that despite the financial gains many families now experience, there has been a rise in personal and societal issues such as divorce and ego-driven conflicts. In his view, these cultural shifts needed to be addressed in order to maintain stability and happiness in the family unit.

Lastly, he spoke about the state of India’s education system, urging the public to place their trust in education rather than in politics. He stressed the importance of reforming the system to align with the evolving needs of society. With so many career options available, students must make informed decisions, considering both short-term opportunities and long-term sustainability. He acknowledged that trends like the popularity of chartered accountancy could easily overshadow other fields, but he encouraged young people to think beyond the current moment and focus on building careers that will withstand the tests of time.
