Nehru Academy of Law conducted its Induction Ceremony 2026 at Shasthra Hall, welcoming students to the beginning of their academic journey in legal education. The programme commenced with a one-minute silent prayer in fond memory of the academy’s beloved Founder Chairman, Late Shri P. K. Das, followed by a universal prayer.
The ceremony was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Sony Vijayan, Principal, Nehru Academy of Law. Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Chancellor, P. K. Das Deemed-to-be University; Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius–India; and Chairman and Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions, delivered the Presidential Address. The Inaugural Address was delivered by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jobin Sebastian, High Court of Kerala, while Prof. Dr. H. N. Nagaraja, Vice-Chancellor, P. K. Das Deemed-to-be University, delivered the Special Address. Dr. Sumitha Krishnadas, Correspondent, NGI, joined the gathering along with other dignitaries. Prof. Dr. P. D. Sebastian, Professor, Nehru Academy of Law, delivered the felicitation. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem.
